Despite warnings from police that Jakarta might face election riots, today’s vote seems to have gone quietly in the city, with all exit polls showing incumbent president SBY giving the competition a solid trouncing.

    We sure didn’t hear much about the Indonesian elections, but maybe I’m just particularly out of it. I guess there were no street riots afterward or anything sensational like that. Hope you are well.

  3. Whoops, sorry I didn’t see this in the queue. If it’s still any use, I believe there were in the neighborhood of 12,500, for almost 7,690,000 voters.
